Map and routes

What this page is for

The Map shows your work and your engineers on one map. Use it to see what is near what, and to plan the best order for a day. Open it from Map in the menu.

Do the common things

See today's work

1. Open Map.
2. Pick a day. Pins show visits, jobs, requests and quotes. Each type has its own colour.
3. Click a pin to see the job and open it.

See where your engineers are

1. Open Map. Live pins show engineers who have used the phone app recently.
2. An engineer's location is only shared when they tap On route, Start visit or Finish visit.

Find the best order for a day

1. Choose an engineer and a day.
2. Click the best order option. Trade Sure lists visits in the order that saves most driving.
3. Use it to move visit times on the Schedule.

Plan free assessments

1. Open the assessments map.
2. Pins show requests that need a free look. Book those near work you already have.

If something looks wrong

• A pin is missing: the property has no map position yet. Check its address and postcode. Trade Sure looks up the position by itself.
• An engineer's pin is old: the engineer has not used the phone app lately.
• The Map is not in your menu: the Map and routes module is switched off.
