What this page is for
Certificates are your safety records: gas safety (CP12), gas warning notices, boiler service, commissioning, EICR, EIC and minor works. Engineers fill them in on the phone, the customer signs, and Trade Sure numbers and stores them. Open Certificates in the menu if your company has the Certificates module.

Do the common things
Fill in a certificate
- On the phone, open the visit.
- Choose the type of certificate and fill in the form.
- Take the signature and finish. The certificate is Completed and numbered.
Find a certificate
- Open Certificates in the office.
- Search by client, address or number.
Print or send a certificate
- Open the certificate and print it or save it as a PDF.
- A certificate can also be linked on the invoice for the job.
Renew on time
- Trade Sure reminds the customer when a certificate is due to be renewed.
What the statuses mean
- Draft: started, not signed.
- Completed: signed, numbered and stored.
If something looks wrong
- A certificate is stuck in Draft: open it and check every required field and the signature.
- The certificate type you need is missing: ask Trade Sure support.
